The company was founded in 1990 by Liora Manné with headquarters in New York City. With a background in both textile design and engineering, Liora Manné developed a patented process called Lamontage; a revolutionary method of producing nonwoven textiles for interiors and fashion.
From a limited edition footwear design for Nike to custom wall murals, the creative applications for this high performance textile are virtually limitless. The versatility of the products coupled with their international design appeal makes them at home in institutions such as the Rubin Museum and Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the Mondrian Hotel in California, the Tomorrowland Department Store in Japan, and some of the most exclusive nightclubs in the country.
From our base in New York City's Chelsea Gallery District, our Showroom and Design Studio is open to the public, and is accommodated to working with architects, contractors and interior designers to create custom-made Lamontage pieces for a wide range of interior settings. Our factory - once located right here in our Showroom and Design Studio - is now located in Tianjin, China, and employs over 250 women who are trained in carrying out Liora Manné's processes.
